The Rehearsal Tapes. This is a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes of the ill-fated Industrial Folk Power Electronics band Cambric Mill, who spent so long working on their new sound before tragically committing group suicide in a painkillers-and-homebrew death cult ritual prior to playing even a single gig. Rather than being a 'Greatest Hits' showcase, this attempts to chronicle life within the band by presenting what happened in the rehearsal room complete with all the internal wrangling, the obsession over the quality of their work, their fanatical perfectionism and self-criticism. "It's what happened in-between the songs that tells the real story . . ."
